The five-star GF Hoteles hotel debuts designer rooms in soft tones with home automation, expanding its family-friendly offering.
The hotel complex reinforces sustainability with energy efficiency measures
After eight months of renovations and a €40 million investment, the GF Gran Costa Adeje hotel reopens its doors with a renewed aesthetic, culminating a modernization project that emphasizes comfort, technology, and the family experience. On this reopening day, the five-star GF Hoteles hotel welcomed its first guests, who are already enjoying the new spaces and services.
The update extends to the guestrooms, where a serene color scheme fosters relaxation and home automation integration allows guests to intuitively control lighting, air conditioning, and other features to personalize their stay.
For Victoria López, president of the Fedola Group, this renovation "goes beyond a cosmetic overhaul: it represents an evolution in the way we understand relaxation and comfort." The president emphasizes that the new design "combines serenity, modernity, and functionality, designed for the well-being of the entire family," and underlines that "this transformation is also another example of the effort we are making as a Canary Islands chain to reinvest in improving the destination and adding value to quality tourism in Tenerife."
López adds that “the true heart of the GF Gran Costa Adeje is its people: the team that makes it possible every day and the large community of loyal guests who have eagerly awaited this reopening of a much-loved hotel.”
As part of the renovation, GF Gran Costa Adeje has incorporated improvements that reduce energy consumption. The hotel features more efficient air conditioning that adjusts to actual occupancy, LED lighting, and automatic control to use only the energy needed at any given time.
In the family entertainment area, the hotel has added a mini-club and a teen club with age-specific programming, and has launched a splash zone with slides designed for the safe enjoyment of little ones, thus reinforcing its position as a leading holiday destination in Costa Adeje.
Sustainability and energy efficiency
Hot water production combines heat recovery and solar energy to reduce costs, and metering systems have been installed to track and optimize consumption by area.
Sensors have also been introduced on doors that turn off the air conditioning when opened, and laundry management has been streamlined to streamline activity and save water and electricity. All of this translates into a lower environmental impact and more efficient operations.
With this renovation, GF Gran Costa Adeje focuses on the real needs of today's traveler: spaces that promote relaxation, technological solutions that simplify the stay, and leisure options designed to ensure each family member finds their place. Furthermore, the Grupo Fedola hotel chain consolidates its commitment to Tenerife and Costa Adeje with an investment that not only modernizes the hotel facilities but also reduces the environmental impact, reinforcing a responsible and competitive tourism model.
