GF Victoria Restaurant receives this recognition after winning the national #MYMICHELINPLAQUEES competition from the MICHELIN Guide and Makro.
Donaire restaurant, recently awarded its first MICHELIN star in the 2025 MICHELIN Guide Spain, has once again been recognized, this time for its creativity and team spirit, by winning the award for best group photograph in the national #MYMICHELINPLAQUEES competition, organized by the MICHELIN Guide in collaboration with Makro.

As part of the recognition, the restaurant received the MICHELIN Gold Plaque, a special distinction that only two restaurants in all of Spain have earned: one for the most creative image and the other—Donaire—for the best team photo. In the photograph, the Donaire team transforms into a symphony orchestra, with chef Jesús Camacho leading the way, baton in hand next to the MICHELIN plaque, while the rest of the team performs their culinary score with pans, saucepans, tongs, glasses, and bottles of wine. A scene full of humor, elegance, and complicity that won over the competition organizers.
“Receiving a MICHELIN star was a dream come true. The fact that the guide now recognizes our more human and creative side as a team fills us with pride and emotion,” says Chef Jesús Camacho. “This photo is a way to express our gratitude, to laugh together, and to celebrate that, at Donaire, we cook with soul, but also with a lot of heart.”

This new achievement adds to an unforgettable year for Donaire, where creativity, commitment, and teamwork have resulted not only in a star, but also in recognition of the unique identity that Donaire brings to Canary Islands gastronomy.
