Tweetvaso linkWe have started 2012 with many changes in order to improve instalations, services, also to become more eco friendly and we just want to share them with you, GF Hoteles guests, friends and visitors.
To start at some point, if you like sunbathing you’ll be glad to hear this. At Hotel Fanabe Costa Sur we have improved our solarium, now it has artificial grass and brand new furniture: sun beds, parasols….and recently also opened a new bar there! so you can have a drink and enjoy great views of Costa Adeje or La Gomera.
Also at Hotel Isabel we have also made a bit bigger our solarium also with artificial grass, new furniture and outdoor showers.A small paradise to sunbathe in Tenerife during your holidays.
La Laja Restaurant has also included new dishes to please all of you.

A creative menu by Pablo Aznar, our chef, has seen the light to satisfy the most demanding guests in a perfect atmosphere tastefuly re decorated recently. Heavenly delicious meals,you can bet.

Tweetvaso linkYear after year Puerto de la Cruz Carnival increases popularity, and its men’s high heels marathon “mascarita ponte tacon” is one of the most acclaimed events during this international party.
This peculiar marathon, with more than 16 editions now, has been filling with originality and fun the streets of Puerto de la Cruz with an explosive combination and sometimes with more than 300 people taking part in it, making this extraordinary race something you shouldn’t miss.

What is required to take part in mascarita ponte tacon?
You have to be a man
You have to wear a costume
High heels with specific heigh ( 10-15 cm generally) are a must
Participants, with high heels on , will have to complete an itinerary through several streets in Puerto de la Cruz but to make everything funnier, they’ll find obstacles they’ll have to sort.
If you are tempted to try , just inscribe yourself at Plaza del Charco and , who knows, you might also get one of the prizes.

We have recently launched our website mobile version.
Marketing scenarios change due to technology and travel and tourism industry is forced to be updated. At GF Hoteles we like trying and experimenting, but above all, we follow a customer centric policy in our hotels in Tenerife, that means, we care about our visitors and potential guests both on and off line.
Our online presence is being improved on daily basis, firstly, we focused in our website, but after a time we’ve started to check new trends and users’ behavior, noticing the increase of visits through mobile devices: smartphones and tablets.
Can we ignore these users?
Not at all.
By taking into account the increase of mobile users in our site, our Marketing director decided to go mobile, smart decision!
What are the differences between our classic website and the mobile version?
GF Hoteles has decided to focus in the main aspects users look for in smartphones:
• hotels’ location
• Hotels’ phone number
• booking engine
What about the design?
Simple, just simple and easy. There’s no way to click on a button you are not interested and, for those that want more information, desktop version option is also available.

All the bands and crews have rehearsals every day, designers ultimate final details on costumes for the Carnival Queen Gala and floats’ decoration are being finished so everything will be perfectly ready when Tenerife’s Carnival 2012 starts and everybody is up to enjoy the party, shows, colors….

Tweetvaso linkLast Wednesday, on December 21st, at Reverón wine cellar Loyalty Awards by CIT del Sur ( Tourist initiatives Center).This event takes place twice a year and it’s promoted by this organization to award loyal guests in several hotels in the area .

This year, two special guests for COSTA ADEJE GRAN HOTEL and also GF HOTELES have received this certificate: Mr. and Mrs. Wagner, a German couple that have stayed in our hotel more than 13 times and Mr. and Mrs. Nuijens that stay with us not only once or twice a year, sometimes we have welcomed them even three times at our 5 stars hotel in Costa Adeje. We are extremely happy at GF Hoteles and obviously also at Fedola Group: our 5 stars hotel in Costa Adeje, Costa Adeje Gran Hotel, celebrates its 10th Aniversary.
